Bugra graduated from Sabanci University with 4 degrees. He studied electronics engineering & material engineering as a double major and physics and energy as a double minor. He worked MIT for research asistant. Bugra co-founded Appsilon and was the CEO from its founding(2017) until 2023 (almost six years). Appsilon is a company that produces diamonds in a laboratory environment. In 5 years, Appsilon has completed 20M$ fundraising (latest series A – 12.5M Euros) and reached M$ turnover. As the CEO, Bugra took part in technical planning(Discussing with the CTO to create product strategy) and led the business unit. These include fundraising, customer acquisition, business strategy, financial statement (Balance sheet, cash flow management, P&L ext.), Key Hiring, University Collaborations, Market Research, and Supply Chain Management to reach the ideal product by conveying customer feedback to the technical team. Legal Responsibilities: IP Agreements, MTA, Share Holder Agreement, Legal Financing, Due Diligence for Investment. Bugra is the CEO of Mizusense.
