Frequently asked questions

What are the prerequisits?

You have a couple of years in Entrepreneuship or necessary skills to be an entrepreneur e.g. marketing, business strategy, etc.

 You do not need to be a water specialist to be a mentor. 

How much time do I dedicate to monitoring each mentee?

We like to ask mentors to dedicate 4 hours per month for each mentee. It is up to you to schedule your mentoring based on the time and resources you have. 

Do I get paid?

The EMC is compeletly free service. Neither Water Alliance or the mentors can ask for money.

Do I sign an NDA?

We do not make you sign an NDA. However, there is a template NDA that can be used. The mentees can ask you to sign it.

What if I am looking for a cofounder?

The mentors actively looking to cofound will mention it on their profile with the “Cofounding” offer. 

When can I join?

The EMC is available year round. You are welcome to apply anytime of the year.
